MSP praise for Newton Community Council saving iconic views of Forth Linlithgow MSP Fiona Hyslop has praised the swift action of Newton Community Council for drawing a problem with the newly installed power lines through Newton towards South Queensferry to the attention of her and Scottish Power. The lines and poles would have seen one of the best views of the Forth and the three bridges from the layby of the A904 interrupted by wooden poles and electricity wires.
