Hyslop Welcomes £23.9m Investment in West Lothian Schools Local Constituency MSP Fiona Hyslop has welcomed Scotland’s Schools for the Future school building programme for investing £23.9m in West Lothian. £22.6m has been invested in building new West Lothian schools and £1.3m has been spent refurbishing schools in the area under the SNP since 2009, and a total of 750 schools have been built or refurbished since the SNP came to power in Scotland.
