Hyslop Appointed as Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs
Fiona to Continue in Culture and External Affairs Brief
Local Constituency MSP, Fiona Hyslop has been appointed as the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs as part of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s Scottish Government Cabinet in the fifth Scottish Parliament term.
Fiona has been a Government Minister since the SNP came to power in 2007 working in both the Culture and Education briefs.
“It is a privilege to serve in the Scottish Government and to be asked to serve as Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
“I am very excited with the addition of Tourism to my previous brief. I will continue to promote Scotland’s Culture, Heritage and our place in and our relationships with the rest of the world, supporting economic growth, jobs and attracting visitors.
