Adam and Sophie Most Popular Names in West Lothian 2012
Speaking after the announcement of Scotland’s top 100 baby names, Local MSP Fiona Hyslop has commented on the results for West Lothian.
“This news gives us an interesting picture of the names chosen by proud parents across West Lothian.
“West Lothian is the only Council area out of 32 which has the name Adam at the top of the list and only seven other local authorities had Adam in their top ten.
“Top girls name for West Lothian, ‘Sophie’, also came in first across Scotland for the eighth year in a row.”
