Hyslop Welcomes Armadale Community Council to Parliament
Fiona invited a group from Armadale Community Council to the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh last Thursday after she spoke at one of their monthly meetings earlier in the year.
Commenting after the visit, Ms Hyslop said;
“I am always delighted to show local groups from West Lothian their Parliament building and how it works.
“The group from Armadale had lunch and watched First Minister’s Questions as well as receiving a tour of the building.
“Holyrood is the people’s Parliament and it is important that it’s people visit and learn how they can have their say in shaping our country. The Scottish Parliament is also one of the top tourist attractions for visitors and residents alike and so I would urge any local groups thinking of visiting to contact me at my Constituency Office in Whitburn for more information.”
