Hyslop Welcomes Second Job Fair for Broxburn
Local Constituency MSP, Fiona Hyslop has welcomed the news that a second jobs fair is to be held this Saturday (12th January)
The Redundancy Support Event will be held at Strathbrock Community Centre (189(a) West Main Street, Broxburn, EH52 5LH) from 10am – 3pm on Saturday January 12th.
Fiona commented;
“I am very pleased that the Government’s Action Plan will offers those affected by the job losses at Vion Halls a second jobs fair and that the event will be open to any members of the public who are facing redundancy.
“This is a great opportunity not only to meet with potential employers, but also to find out more about on training and further education.
“While the Task Force is continuing to meet to find solutions for the hard working employees at Halls of Broxburn, I would encourage all who can attend this redundancy support event to do so.”
