Mother and Daughter Double Act at Linlithgow Academy
Linlithgow Academy presented a mother and daughter double act last week at their Annual Awards Ceremony.
Local MSP for Linlithgow, Fiona Hyslop attended the ceremony as a guest of honour, presenting the awards to the pupils. She delivered the main speech and her daughter, Sarah Anderson, new Head Girl of Linlithgow Academy also delivered a speech thanking all those involved.
Fiona said;
“Linlithgow Academy’s academic results this year have been outstanding and I was very proud to present the dux medals to Junior Dux Joanna Boxall and Senior Dux to Kyle McLachlan who is also the new Head Boy.
“I was delighted to be invited as a guest of honour at Linlithgow Academy’s Prize Giving, particularly in the year that my daughter as Head Girl received the Shield from Linlithgow Academy Association for Outstanding Contributions to the School.”
